We are hiring an SEO and SEM Specialist to transform search into a core acquisition engine for FairMoney. This role is responsible for driving organic and high-intent lead generation through SEO and Google Search Ads, while significantly improving our online visibility, traffic quality, and overall conversion performance.
This is more than a technical optimisation role. We are looking for a growth-driven professional who can take full ownership of scalable, cost-efficient, and high-impact acquisition from search. The ideal candidate will lead strategies that increase visibility across priority keywords, grow organic traffic, and consistently generate qualified leads and application conversions through a data-driven SEO and SEM approach.
Key Responsibilities
Own and execute the SEO and SEM strategy to drive high-intent, scalable user acquisition.
Grow organic traffic and improve rankings for priority financial keywords that generate qualified leads and application installs.
Lead Google Search Ads campaigns, optimising for cost-efficiency, lead quality, and conversion performance.
Optimise the full search acquisition funnel from search query to landing page to lead to application and activation.
Continuously test and improve landing pages, messaging, and user journeys to increase conversion rates.
Identify and eliminate inefficient spend through deep analysis of search terms, user intent, and performance data.
Track, analyse, and report on acquisition performance, including traffic growth, lead volume, conversion rates, and customer acquisition cost.
Translate data insights into actionable recommendations that accelerate search-led growth.
Collaborate with marketing, product, and growth teams to align search strategy with business objectives.
Requirements
5+ years in SEO, SEM, or search-focused growth roles.
Strong hands-on experience with Google Search Ads.
Proficiency with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Search Console).
Knowledge of Nigeria’s search landscape and user behaviour.
Familiarity with GA4 and conversion tracking.
Ability to work with Product/Engineering to execute SEO changes.
Strong analytical skills; comfortable working with large datasets.
Experience in fintech, financial services or a high-growth marketplace is a plus.
