We are seeking experienced and highly responsible Senior Drivers to join a leading manufacturing company.
The successful candidates will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of company personnel, goods, materials, and other assigned items across Lagos, different states in Nigeria, and occasionally to neighboring African countries.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate company vehicles on local, interstate, and occasional international routes.
Transport company personnel, goods, products, materials, and equipment as assigned.
Undertake long-distance journeys across Nigeria when required.
Occasionally travel to neighboring African countries, including Ghana and other approved destinations.
Maintain excellent knowledge of Lagos roads, major routes, alternative routes, and traffic patterns.
Conduct routine checks on assigned vehicles before and after trips.
Report vehicle faults, maintenance requirements, accidents, or incidents promptly.
Ensure all assigned documents, goods, and passengers are handled responsibly.
Maintain accurate trip and mileage records where required.
Observe all road safety regulations and company driving policies.
Maintain a high level of professionalism, punctuality, discretion, and personal conduct.
Ensure the assigned vehicle is kept clean and in good operating condition.
Assist with loading and offloading where necessary.
Remain flexible to work extended hours, weekends, or travel schedules when operationally required.
Requirements
Minimum of SSCE / WAEC / NECO or equivalent.
Valid Nigerian driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle category.
5–6 years of driving experience.
Proven experience handling long-distance and interstate driving.
Strong knowledge of Lagos routes and road networks.
Must currently reside in Lagos State.
Experience driving for a corporate organization, manufacturing company, logistics company, or similar organization is an advantage.
Must be physically fit and capable of undertaking long-distance journeys.
Good knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
Ability to travel within Nigeria and occasionally to neighboring African countries.
Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations.
Must demonstrate reliability, integrity, discipline, and professionalism.
Clean and responsible driving record is strongly preferred.
