Senior Transaction Specialist at AP3 Capital & Advisory Services Ltd

Role Overview

• You will contribute to the end-to-end delivery of transaction advisory engagements, including project preparation, structuring, financial analysis, procurement support, and stakeholder management.
• We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in transaction advisory, infrastructure finance, or PPP project delivery, with strong capabilities in financial modelling, project structuring, and deal execution.

Transaction Advisory Delivery

• Support the development and implementation of delivery frameworks for advisory engagements
• Lead day-to-day stakeholder engagement and ensure high-quality project execution
• Develop client deliverables including feasibility studies, financial models, reports, procurement documents, and project plans
• Contribute to project lifecycle activities such as programme design, project planning, financial analysis, and risk management
• Conduct market, policy, and situational analysis to support client decision-making
• Apply technical expertise to interpret complex data and provide practical solutions

Business Development

• Support opportunity identification and contribute to proposal development (EOIs, RFPs, tenders)
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, financial institutions, and public sector stakeholders
• Support engagement with development partners and private sector financiers
• Contribute to workshops, events, and capability-building initiatives

Team & Thought Leadership

• Provide guidance to junior team members and support team development
• Contribute to insight reports, publications, and knowledge sharing
• Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory developments, and market dynamics
• Maintain high-quality standards across all deliverables
• Support internal initiatives including strategy development and risk management

Skills & Experience

• 5–7 years’ experience in transaction advisory, infrastructure finance, or PPP advisory roles, capital projects (candidates with purely project management experience will not be a strong fit)
• Strong experience in financial modelling, project feasibility analysis, and project structuring
• Experience supporting transactions through procurement to financial close
• Strong financial modelling and analytical capability
• Understanding of PPP frameworks and infrastructure project lifecycle
• Experience with contract structures such as EPC and PPP
• Strong writing, presentation, and data analysis skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Willingness to travel

Nice to Have

• Experience working with development finance institutions, infrastructure funds, or PPP units is an advantage
