Roles/Responsibilities
Manage procurement of all technical materials, goods, and services
Ensure cost, cash, quality, and service optimization.
Manage & execute contracts based on formal legal T&C’s
Add value through strategic sourcing, value engineering, innovation, delivery, and risk management.
Optimize inventory while ensuring timeliness of deliveries & reduction in procedural delays.
Influence stakeholder relationships to achieve purchasing objectives, implement innovation strategy and business needs change.
Continuously gather, analyze, interpret & act upon market intelligence
Communicate internal stakeholders as appropriate.
Feedstock and market assumptions translated into annual budget and quarterly reforecast of portfolio spend.
Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline
Post graduate qualification/or relevant professional qualification will be an added advantage.
Minimum of ten (10) years relevant work experience, four (4) of which must have been in a supervisory role.
