Senior Team Lead Mechanical / Electrical Engineer at Jubaili Bros Nigeria

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the formulation of departmental strategies derived from the overall functional strategy and oversee their implementation within the section to ensure vertical alignment and cross-departmental integration across Jubaili.
• Lead and manage both direct and indirect reports through effective recruitment, training, performance management, and succession planning, to maximize team productivity and achieve sectional objectives.
• Oversee the section’s day-to-day operations by providing technical expertise, fostering teamwork, and streamlining processes to ensure high performance and delivery of established targets.
• Develop and coordinate maintenance schedules by prioritizing customer needs based on zone, urgency, and resource allocation, ensuring timely and efficient generator servicing.
• Supervise and engage in technical assignments including project/site inspections, fault diagnosis, problem resolution, design modifications, troubleshooting, and handling major faults or customer complaints to support team effectiveness.
• Provide pricing guidance for services rendered, including preparation of BOQs for major works, coordination with the spare parts department, pricing of on-call visits, and monitoring receivables to ensure timely closure of accounts.
• Review and analyze reports from the Maintenance Coordinator on breakdown trends, service delays, and contract renewals, and recommend corrective measures. Liaise with the technical department on customer cases, warranty issues, complaints, and product improvement initiatives.
• Maintain proactive communication with customers, addressing their needs, feedback, and concerns while ensuring timely resolution and improved customer satisfaction.
• Supervise the use, care, and condition of maintenance tools and vehicles, ensuring availability, proper handling, and replacement where necessary to support uninterrupted operations.
• Contribute to the development, communication, and implementation of departmental policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
