This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Tax Manager, based in Lagos with some work from home allowed.
The Senior Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing tax planning, tax compliance, and the preparation and review of tax returns.
Day-to-day tasks include monitoring changes in tax laws, ensuring adherence to tax regulations, and providing strategic tax advice to minimize the company's tax liability.
The role will also involve collaborating with other departments to support financial decision-making and tax-related projects.
Qualifications
15 years experience in tax management
Expertise in Tax Planning, Tax Compliance, and Tax Preparation
Solid understanding of Tax Law and its practical applications
Proficiency in overall Tax management and strategy
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work both independently and within a team
Experience in the banking or financial services industry is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are mandatory
