Job Description

• We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Procurement Officer to manage and oversee procurement processes, with a strong focus on machines, automobile spare parts, and general procurement.
• The successful candidate will ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining high standards of quality and supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop, lead, and execute procurement strategies for machines, automobile spare parts, and general goods.
• Source, negotiate, and establish relationships with reliable vendors and suppliers.
• Monitor and forecast upcoming demand for goods and services.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations in all procurement transactions.
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
• Oversee inventory control and ensure timely availability of required items.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement aligns with business needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• 6 – 7 years cognate experience in procurement, with proven expertise in machines and automobile spare parts.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Good knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supply chain management.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems is an added advantage.
