Senior MEP Engineer at Landmark Africa Group

• Landmark Africa Group is seeking an experienced Senior MEP Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems across our real estate development projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in energy systems, sustainability, and large-scale project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of MEP systems across development projects.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate MEP systems into building designs.
• Review HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and energy system designs to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Provide guidance on energy-efficient and sustainable building solutions.
• Oversee MEP drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and procurement processes.
• Supervise installation, site inspections, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems.
• Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to project timelines.
• Monitor system performance and recommend upgrades or efficiency improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of MEP engineering experience, with 3+ years in a senior role.
• Experience with large-scale real estate or hospitality developments.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other MEP design tools.
• Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Professional engineering certification is an added advantage.
