    Senior HSE Officer

    Job Summary

    • Responsible for all aspects of OSHA safety programs, managing and/or supervising various projects while providing Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) guidance to company staff and contractors in order to achieve zero accidents/incidents and ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement an HSE management system.
    • Design and implement programs to raise employee awareness and ensure the practical application of health and safety practices in the workplace.
    • Develop HSE policies and procedures in compliance with standards and legislation.
    • Conduct accident and incident investigations and analyses and provide recommendations to prevent recurrence.
    • Propose HSE capacity-building programs, such as defensive driving, OSHA training, etc.
    • Liaise with external stakeholders on HSE matters.
    • Provide an emergency response plan, test it, and update it as necessary.
    • Provide guidance and advice to staff at all levels on HSE-related matters.
    • Supervise HSE personnel.
    • Perform special assignments and other related duties as required.

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    • Proactive identification of workplace hazards and risk analysis to ensure workplace safety.
    • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and DCC policies.
    • Ensure effective implementation of HSE programs.
    • Develop a positive Health, Safety, and Environment culture within DCCI.

    Candidate Profile
    Education and Professional Experience:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health or relevant disciplines
    • At least six (6) years of relevant professional experience in HSE or in a similar role.
