Job Summary:

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Geologist to join our team.
• The Senior Geologist will be responsible for conducting geological studies, analyzing data, and providing expert guidance to support our organization's exploration and development activities.
• The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in geology, with expertise in geological mapping, data interpretation, and project management.
• The Senior Geologist will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the strategic decision-making process to ensure effective exploration and development projects.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct geological studies and surveys to evaluate potential exploration sites.
• Perform detailed geological mapping and sampling, and interpret geological data.
• Analyze and interpret geophysical and geochemical data to identify potential mineral deposits or hydrocarbon reservoirs.
• Utilize geological software and modeling tools to analyze and visualize data.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior geologists and field teams.
• Develop and implement exploration strategies and work plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, environmental scientists, and project managers to support exploration and development projects.
• Evaluate and assess risks associated with exploration and development projects.
• Conduct field visits and inspections to assess site conditions and collect geological data.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and recommendations based on geological findings.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements and trends in geology and recommend innovative techniques or technologies to improve exploration and development processes.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations during fieldwork and ensure compliance with environmental standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Geologist, with a focus on exploration and development projects.
• Strong knowledge of geological mapping techniques, data interpretation, and geological modeling software.
• Proficient in utilizing geophysical and geochemical data to identify potential mineral deposits or hydrocarbon reservoirs.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Solid understanding of project management principles and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in mentoring and guiding junior geologists.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and environmental regulations related to geological exploration and development.
• Flexibility to travel to field sites as required.
