• A Senior Electrical Engineerdesigns, develops, tests, and supervises complex electrical systems, components, and machinery while leading projects and mentoring junior staff.
• Key duties include producing technical drawings, ensuring compliance with safety standards, performing system analysis, managing budgets, and providing technical support for operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Engineering: Develop, design, and implement complex electrical systems (low/medium voltage, power distribution, control systems).
• Technical Leadership: Lead engineering projects, perform peer reviews, and provide expert technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
• Project Management: Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables while coordinating with stakeholders, contractors, and clients.
• Analysis & Troubleshooting: Analyze existing systems for improvements, perform root cause analysis, and troubleshoot equipment failures.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure all designs and installations meet industry codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g., LOTO, NEC).
• Documentation: Generate detailed reports, specifications, and CAD drawings.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering; a Master's degree is often preferred.
• Experience: Generally 5 - 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering, design, or maintenance.
• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP).
• Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred or required in many roles.
• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Typical Work Environment:

• Office-based design work combined with on-site factory or field visits for inspections and commissioning.
• May involve travel to project sites and occasionally working outside normal business hours.
