We are currently seeking a Senior Contract Administrator to play a critical role in supporting our client’s procurement and contract process.
The primary objective of this position is to accelerate the contract approval cycle, ensure compliance, and facilitate the timely preparation of award recommendations.
Job Details
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of contracts, including purchase orders, service agreements, licensing agreements, and construction contracts.
Liaising with other functions to ensure that all contracts comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Ensuring contracts are clear, concise, and legally sound, protecting the organisation's interests while minimising risk.
Identifying and addressing potential legal and commercial risks in contracts.
Monitoring contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations. Build strong relationships with external suppliers and vendors for this purpose.
Managing contract variations, extensions, and terminations in liaison with the relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
Graduated with a minimum GPA of Second-Class Lower (2.2)
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the end-to-end procurement and contract administration activities.
Certifications in any of the following will be an advantage: The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS), Nigerian Institute of Purchasing and Supply (NIPS), Chartered Institute of Supply Chain Management (CISCM), Six Sigma, or other relevant procurement and supply chain certifications.
Excellent analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to interpret complex contract terms and conditions.
Exceptional organisational and time-management skills to handle high-volume workloads.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with any ERP tool
