1.       Purpose of Role:

The Senior Business Analyst will play a critical role in the analysis process, designed to help Starsight Energy make data-driven decisions. You will be working with data from all aspects of the business model and also maintain a data warehouse to enable the build out of truly autonomous reports for various departments and advise on its performance and improvements. This can involve inventing new systems or revamping existing areas of the business.

2.       Main Responsibilities:

• Support the development and improvement of existing projects, IRR reports.
• Support the provision of existing project metrics and visuals for board presentation.
• Support the further improvement and development of the new bundle pricing.
• Maintenance and further improvement of new projects' IRR model.
• Assist the Finance team with the cleaning of inventory and fixed asset data.
• Support the execution of the Starsight commercial strategy across the continent.
• Project work on customer analytics and segmentation to improve the sales pipeline.
• Project work on improving company data quality, data flows, and data security.
• Support the development and successful implementation of the company's DWH.
• Advanced analytics to predict trends, discover patterns and improve IRR model assumptions.
• responsible for database performance, bug detection and escalation.
• Innovating by recognizing opportunities for automation and tool improvements,
• Share responsibility for the development and implementation of process improvements in analytics.
• Support and develop strategic and tactical operational reports on existing projects' costs and power metrics for the CEO, CTO, and investors.
• Under the SS Analytics academy, host Excel training and programming bootcamps.
• To carry out other duties as assigned by the CEO/Head of Analytics
• Monitoring and advising on business performance.
• Contribute to the Improvement of the SS Business Model: The IRR Model

3.       Qualification

• A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a science-related field.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience, of which 3 years of experience should be in business intelligence analytics or financial analysis.
• Coding proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, R, or Java).
• Experience with a relational database technology such as Oracle, MySQL, or MS SQL
• Experience with contextualizing data requests across various departments
• Experience with performance analytics or providing and presenting business insights to executives.
