Senior Accountant at Mai Shayi Coffee

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for general accounting and book keeping according to local, international and industry requirements.
• Deliver accurate reports to Management in accordance with agreed/Stipulated timelines.
• Monitor financial transactions and review supporting documentations.
• Assist in preparing periodic financial reports for both Internal and External Stakeholders.
• Develop and implement procedures to ensure timely processing of all accounts payable, invoices, and requisition purchase orders.
• Oversee the company’s inventory Management function, including inventory tracking, costing and valuation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or its equivalent.
• 2-3 years’ experience in similar role.
• Sound knowledge of FIRS accounting principles
• Knowledge of Accounting package/software e.g. QuickBooks, Sage, Zoho etc.
• Excellent writing and Communication skills.
• Sound Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft word .
• Professional Membership of ICAN, ACCA, ICAEW might be an added advantage.
