    Senior Account Manager

    • Develop account objectives and commercial strategy, including understanding and documenting the competitive landscape, and implementing through account plan.
    • Build successful working relationships with new and existing clients, establish dsm-firmenich as a key partner, and obtain briefs for profitable business.
    • Translate client needs into dsm-firmenich projects, define accurate pricing and margin parameters for each project, and enter all project information into the project management system.
    • Lead and coordinate projects with internal partners and clients, and drive projects towards the best possible solution for both the client and dsm-firmenich.
    • Monitor sales and profitability versus objectives, and optimize all financial aspects of the account, including expenses and clients' overdue payments.
    • Maintain accurate commercial data and documentation, and work closely with the Commercial Assistant to ensure all admin and systems are up to date.

    You bring

    • Confidence in your ability to communicate with others in a clear, concise, and precise manner.
    • Minimum 5 years working experience in sales and or business development, it is a plus if that has been within the food and beverage industry.
    • Bachelor’s degree or diploma, in Food Technology / Food Science is considered a plus.
    • Ability to apply logic to solve an unfamiliar problem.
    • You consider attention to detail to be one of your signature strengths.
