    Secondary School Global Perspectives Teacher (Cambridge Curriculum)

    Role summary

    • We are looking for an innovative and research-driven Global Perspectives Teacher to join our Secondary School faculty.
    • The ideal candidate will have a strong grounding in the Cambridge curriculum and be skilled in guiding students to develop critical thinking, research, and problem-solving skills.
    • As a research fellow and educator, you will inspire learners to examine global issues, evaluate perspectives, and develop reasoned arguments in preparation for the IGCSE and Check PointGlobal Perspectives examinations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Teach Global Perspectives in line with Cambridge curriculum requirements at IGCSE
    • Develop engaging lessons that foster inquiry, critical analysis, and reflective thinking.
    • Guide students through research projects, independent investigations, and collaborative assignments.
    • Mentor students in preparing for Global Perspectives presentations, essays, and assessments.
    • Foster a classroom environment that encourages debate, dialogue, and respect for diverse viewpoints.
    • Assess, monitor, and provide feedback on student performance in accordance with Cambridge standards.
    • Contribute to curriculum development, research culture, and cross-disciplinary collaborations.
    • Participate in school events, professional development, and global education initiatives.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Education, International Relations, Political Science, Philosophy, or related fields (Master’s degree preferred).
    • Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, PGDE, B.Ed., or equivalent).
    • Minimum 3 years’ teaching experience, with exposure to the Cambridge curriculum.
    • Strong background in academic research, inquiry-based learning, and interdisciplinary teaching.
    • Demonstrated ability to prepare students for IGCSE/ Check PointGlobal Perspectives assessments.
    • Excellent communication and mentoring skills, with a passion for global education.
