This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos for a Sec Sponsored Control Officer.
The individual in this role will be responsible for implementing and monitoring internal controls, conducting routine audits, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
Additional duties include preparing reports, issuing recommendations, and collaborating with teams to mitigate risks and maintain financial integrity.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills for evaluating data, identifying issues, and proposing solutions
Solid knowledge of Finance, including financial regulations and accounting principles
Proficiency in Communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teams and reporting
Experience in Internal Controls and Auditing to ensure regulatory compliance and best practices
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
