    School Administrator

    Job Summary

    • The School Administrator will manage the daily operations of the school, ensuring a conducive environment for both students and staff. The ideal candidate will provide leadership, handle administrative duties, and maintain strong relationships with parents and staff.
    • They will also ensure compliance with government regulations and foster an environment that promotes academic and personal growth for the students.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee the overall operation of the school, including managing staff, students, and school facilities.
    • Ensure compliance with educational guidelines and government regulations.
    • Handle budgeting, financial management, and reporting.
    • Supervise staff recruitment, performance evaluation, and development.
    • Oversee school admissions and ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.
    • Manage student discipline and welfare, maintaining a safe and conducive learning environment.
    • Regularly interact with parents to address concerns and build positive relationships.
    • Collaborate with teachers to support curriculum implementation and maintain high educational standards.
    • Organize and oversee school events, meetings, and communications with stakeholders.
    • Ensure proper maintenance of school facilities and uphold safety standards.
    • Ensure compliance with government regulations, handle inspections, and prepare for school audits.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Educational Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in school administration, preferably within aprimary/secondary school setting.
    • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to manage budgets and financial operations.
    • Knowledge of Nigerian educational regulations and compliance requirements.
    • Proficiency in office management software (Microsoft Office Suite, school management systems).
