    Sales Supervisors

    Our client, an FMCG commodity retail conglomerate is seeking experienced, detail-oriented, thorough, and organized Supervisors to join its growing team. In this position, successful candidates will play a key role in providing excellent leadership skills needed to continually improve generated revenue. You will supervise, coordinate, and manage sales representatives under your jurisdiction to meet and exceed sales quotas.

    The role holders will be responsible for the supervision and overseeing sales of commodities, driving sales initiatives, brand promotion and effective sales team management.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage a team of salespersons.
    • Organize and coordinate sales representatives/officers’ schedules.
    • Research potential leads from business directories, web searches, or digital resources
    • Conduct training and retraining of old and new sales representatives.
    • Report to the Regional Managers on all relevant matters.
    • Act as a point of contact for both salespersons and potential customer.
    • Track daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics.
    • Meet all sales quotas and goals
    • Assist sales representatives/officers and team to meet and exceed goals

    PERSON SPECIFICATION:

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, business, or related field preferred.
    • 7- 10 years' related experience working with an FCMG company
    • Related experience selling commodities will be an added advantage
    • Demonstrated and proven sales results.
    • Basic computer skills and experience with tracking and recording call information, filing documents, or updating customer profiles/accounts; may include entering and tracking merchandise, and scheduling with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Persuasive and goal-oriented.
    • In-depth understanding of company services and its position in the market
    • Excellent customer care and focus; ability to assess customers' needs and provide correct answers, paths, troubleshooting, or method for a positive customer experience.
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time and people efficiently.
