    Sales Operations Manager

    Role Overview

    • We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Operations Manager to join our team. This pivotal role is responsible for optimizing our sales processes and acting as the critical bridge between our Sales, Warehouse, and Logistics teams . The primary focus is to streamline order fulfillment from the point of sale to final delivery, ensuring operational efficiency, high customer satisfaction, and revenue growth.

    Key Responsibilities

    Sales Operations & Strategy

    • Process Optimization: Design, implement, and continually optimize scalable sales workflows and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance the efficiency of the sales team and the overall order-to-delivery cycle .
    • Order Management: Oversee the entire sales order processing system, ensuring accuracy in pricing, discounts, documentation, and data entry from order confirmation to invoicing .
    • Sales Analysis: Conduct comprehensive sales analysis to identify trends, forecast future sales, and pinpoint operational bottlenecks or opportunities for growth .
    • Performance Management: Establish and track key sales KPIs and performance dashboards to provide actionable insights to the sales leadership team .

    Cross-Functional Liaison (Sales, Warehouse & Logistics)

    • Streamlined Fulfillment: Serve as the primary interface between the Sales, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless coordination and efficient execution of customer orders .
    • Demand & Supply Planning: Collaborate closely with the sales team for accurate demand forecasting and coordinate with warehouse/logistics teams to ensure product availability, manage stock allocation, and prevent stock-outs or overstocking .
    • Logistics Coordination: Work with the logistics team to optimize delivery routes, ensure timely dispatch, and oversee last-mile delivery to customers, ensuring the company's brand promise is met .
    • Issue Resolution: Act as the escalation point for resolving fulfillment issues, delivery delays, and customer service disputes quickly and efficiently .

    3. Process & Resource Management

    • Inventory Control: Oversee inventory planning and stock control procedures, working with the warehouse team to maintain healthy inventory turnover and stock accuracy .
    • Technology Utilization: Manage sales tools, CRM utilization, and ERP systems to ensure data integrity and drive process automation .
    • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal departments (Finance, Customer Care) and external stakeholders to align operational execution with business objectives .

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is an advantage .
    • Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in Sales Operations, Supply Chain, or Business Operations .
    • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the Electronics, Home Appliances, FMCG, or Retail & eCommerce sectors is highly preferred .

    Skills & Competencies

    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to act as a bridge between sales, warehouse, and logistics teams to streamline processes .
    • Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and reporting using tools like MS Excel and CRM/ERP systems .
    • Process Improvement: A structured, process-driven mindset with a track record of identifying bottlenecks and implementing scalable solutions .
    • Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to manage internal teams and external partners .
    • Leadership: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and supervise operational staff.
