    Sales Officer

    Description

    • The Sales Officer is responsible for driving sales, managing customer relationships, and ensuring the effective distribution and visibility of the company’s products within the assigned territory.
    • The role focuses on achieving sales targets, executing trade activities, and building strong partnerships with distributors, retailers, and other trade partners.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for the assigned territory.
    • Ensure effective product distribution across assigned outlets and markets.
    • Maintain adequate stock levels with distributors and monitor timely order placements.
    • Implement route-to-market (RTM) strategies to maximize coverage and availability.
    • Execute trade marketing and promotional activities in line with company guidelines.
    • Ensure product visibility, availability, and pricing compliance at retail points.
    • Monitor competitor activities and provide timely feedback to management.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
    • Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.
    • Provide market intelligence and insights from customer interactions.
    • Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
    • Track and monitor key sales performance indicators.
    • Recommend actions to improve territory performance.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
    • 2 - 4 years of FMCG sales experience, preferably in a field sales / territory role.
    • Strong understanding of trade, distribution, and retail operations.
    • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of ERP or sales tracking tools is an added advantage.
    • and sales reporting tools (ERP/SAP is an added advantage).
