    Sales & Marketing Officer

    Job Summary

    • The Head of B2B Sales and Marketing is responsible for developing and executing strategic plans that drive sales growth and enhance market presence across all B2B channels. This role will focus on implementing an effective B2B Sales Strategy aimed at achieving volume and margin goals while ensuring optimal customer engagement and satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Strategic Development: Formulate long-term strategies that align with market trends, incorporating economic insights to mitigate risks and optimize rewards for a competitive advantage in supply costs.
    • Sales Optimization: Conduct thorough optimization analyses to maximize netback, ensuring that sales strategies are data-driven and results-oriented.
    • Market Opportunity Identification: Proactively identify and evaluate long-term commercial opportunities to position the organization favourably within the market landscape.
    • Contract Management: Manage both mid-term and long-term commercial supply strategies, including the oversight of short-term contractual commitments to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
    • Business Development: Drive business development initiatives by identifying evolving market and customer needs, translating them into actionable business strategies.
    • Proactive Risk Management: Leverage market knowledge to anticipate key risks and opportunities, translating insights into strategic business implications and responses.
    • Innovative Sales Approaches: Challenge existing processes and foster innovation to enhance sales performance, improve customer satisfaction, and achieve superior results across all sales channels.
    • Customer Lifecycle Management: Take ownership of the entire customer lifecycle, ensuring seamless delivery from acquisition through implementation and ongoing support.
    • Relationship Building: Cultivate and strengthen relationships with both existing and potential customers, supporting Account Managers in high-level negotiations to reinforce the customer value proposition.
    • Customer Experience Enhancement: Serve as the subject matter expert on relationship management and actively contribute to initiatives aimed at improving the overall customer experience.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, or Engineering).
    • Industry Experience: Proven track record in the downstream oil and gas marketing sector with a solid understanding of B2B sales and marketing dynamics.
    • Sales Expertise: Minimum of 5 years of sales management experience, with a strong background in B2B Sales & Marketing within the oil and gas industry.
    • Policy Knowledge: In-depth understanding of pricing and credit policies, along with relevant processes that influence sales strategies.
