    Sales Executive

    • We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Executive to join our client's publishing company.
    • The Sales Executive will play a crucial role in our client's team, and their responsibilities extend beyond traditional sales.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement comprehensive and effective sales strategies to maximize revenue and expand market reach. Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales efforts with broader marketing and promotional initiatives.
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with a range of new and existing customers including bookstores, libraries, bricks and online retailers, institutional buyers and distribution partners.
    • Collaborate with authors to promote their works and engage with their audience through author events, book tours, and media appearances.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competition, and reader preferences to inform product development and marketing strategies.
    • Set, monitor, and achieve sales targets while maintaining profitability and cost control.

    Requirements & Skills

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in publishing or a related industry
    • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
    • Knowledge of book distribution, retailer relationships, and market trends.
    • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing revenue
    • Strong organisational, time-management skills, independent and a team player
    • A passion for books and deep knowledge of the publishing industry
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
    • Willingness to travel as needed and attend industry events
