Job Summary

• As a Senior Network Security Engineer, you will be responsible for protecting enterprise-grade systems against today’s advanced persistent threats.
• Your day-to-day activities will involve the integration and support of network security tools and technologies within enterprises across Financial Services, Telecommunication, Manufacturing and Oil and Gas sectors.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Design implementation and maintain on network related project
• Extend all the necessary support for all operational outages in IP/ Security network.
• Cisco ACI | Design, Troubleshooting and implementation
• Use system, security, and network monitoring tools.
• Ensure weekly backup on LAN & Edge Devices
• Daily Health check on WAN & ACI fabric
• Develop and refine best practice
• Mentor team members on technical issues

Education & Experience

• A Degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering, or related qualification.
• 5 years of work experience with Network incident detection, incident response
• Experience with Firewalls (functionality and maintenance), Cisco ASA, Fortinet
• Experience in managing Cisco SDN solutions such as ACI
• Experience with Network protocols BGP and OSPF and F5 infrastructure
• Experience with Managing Cisco ISE

Required Skills:

• Understanding of IP networks and TCP/IP technologies (DNS, SNMP etc.)
• Knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) and data carrying techniques (MPLS)
• Understanding of Software Define Networking solutions
• Ability to provide in-depth analysis of network traffic
• Hands on knowledge of Cisco, Fortinet, and HP products etc.
• Good understanding of operational support systems.

Job Description

• Storage & Backup Administrator is responsible for managing and ensuring the availability, integrity, and security of the organization's data through backup and recovery processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement backup strategies and policies based on the organization's data storage requirements, compliance regulations, and recovery objectives.
• Perform regular backups of critical data and systems, including file systems, databases, applications, and virtual machines.
• Conduct data recovery and restoration activities in case of data loss and system failures
• Monitor backup processes, ensuring successful completion of backups, and generating reports on backup status, data growth, storage utilization, and system performance.
• Manage and maintain the storage infrastructure, including storage arrays, tape libraries, disk-based backup systems, and cloud storage solutions.
• Implement security measures to protect backup data from unauthorized access, ensure data encryption during transit and storage, and adhere to regulatory compliance requirements regarding data retention and privacy.
• Maintain accurate documentation of backup procedures, configurations, and operational guidelines.
• Stay updated with the latest backup technologies, trends, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Strong knowledge and understanding of various storage technologies is essential. This includes familiarity with storage area networks (SAN), network-attached storage (NAS), and direct-attached storage (DAS). Knowledge of RAID configurations and storage protocols such as Fibre Channel, iSCSI, and NFS (Network File System).
• Proficiency in backup and recovery concepts and practices is crucial.
• Knowledge of backup software and tools, such as Veritas NetBackup, Veeam, or Commvault.
• Experience with storage management tools. This include software like EMC VMAX, NetApp OnCommand and IBM Spectrum Virtualize.
• Knowledge of encryption methods, access controls, data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA), and best practices for securing data in storage and during backups is important.
• Professional certifications: CompTIA Storage+ or CompTIA Server+; EMC Proven Professional (EMC Storage Administrator, EMC Data Scientist, etc.); NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA); Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE);
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or similar certifications related to cloud storage and backup technologies.
