    Sales Executive – Plastics Manufacturing

    Location: Ota, Ogun

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Executive – Plastics Manufacturing to drive sales growth, manage customer accounts, and expand market opportunities within the plastics sector.
    • The ideal candidate must have proven experience in the plastic industry, strong technical product understanding, and a solid track record of meeting sales targets in a manufacturing environment.

    Key Responsibilities
    Sales & Business Development:

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the plastics and packaging sector.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, industrial clients, and key decision-makers.
    • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, product trends, and competitive activities.
    • Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations, and product demonstrations.
    • Drive revenue growth by achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets.

    Client Management:

    • Manage existing client accounts to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnership.
    • Provide timely responses to customer inquiries, technical questions, and product specifications.
    • Follow up on orders, deliveries, and after-sales support.
    • Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure issues are resolved promptly.

    Reporting & Coordination:

    • Coordinate with production, logistics, and quality teams to ensure accurate order processing.
    • Maintain updated records of client interactions, sales performance, and pipeline activities.
    • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for management review.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess relevant qualifications.
    • Mandatory: Proven experience in sales within the plastic manufacturing industry (e.g., plastic injection molding, blow molding, packaging, industrial plastics, raw materials).
    • 2 - 4 years of B2B sales experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
    • Strong understanding of plastic products, raw materials, and production processes.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
    • Ability to work independently with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
    • Valid driver’s license is an added advantage.
