You’ll be responsible for hiring, coaching, and performance management, working closely with sales and marketing to enhance sales outreach activities. Ideal candidates will have a strong sales background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in developing successful sales teams.
Responsibilities
Deliver on growth initiative goals.
Lead a team of Sales Executives in Lekki office.
Participate in the Sales Executives recruiting process and make hiring decisions.
Consistently meet or exceed team goals for activity, hiring, and pipeline creation.
Drive Sales Executives activity metrics and grow pipeline.
Coach, manage performance, and develop the career paths of team members.
Partner with other departments and sales operations to enhance sales outreach performance.
Assess team needs and recommend training plans and programs.
Requirements
8-12 years of experience as a Sales Development Manager, preferably in the automobile sector.
Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, marketing, or a related field.
Ability to coach and hold team members accountable for results.
Solid understanding of reporting, forecasting, and B2B sales processes.
Outstanding communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in CRM software.
Experience in the IT sector and B2B sales or customer support.
Strong Project management skills and knowledge of sales KPIs evaluation.
A professional appearance, friendly manner, and positive attitude.
The ability to be competitive while maintaining the client’s best interests.
