    Sales Conversion Officer

    Job Overview

    • We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Conversion Officer to join our founding team.
    • We are at a critical stage in our growth and have an urgent need for a Sales Conversion Officer. Ideally, we want someone with previous startup and enterprise who has experience in all phases of the Sales execution process.
    • The individuals who will be hired at this position will be given a significant amount of equity given that the company is at execution stage.
    • The person will be working fully remotely on a part-time basis while continuing their current job until we begin generating revenue and secure funding.
    • The Sales Conversion Officer is responsible for driving revenue growth by converting qualified leads into paying customers.
    • This role requires a keen understanding of the sales process, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to tailor sales strategies to meet the unique needs of each prospect.
    • The Sales Conversion Officer will work closely with the sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless and effective sales process that maximizes conversion rates and customer satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead Conversion: Proactively engage with qualified leads to understand their needs, present tailored solutions, and guide them through the sales funnel to close deals.
    • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to convert leads into customers, focusing on understanding customer pain points and aligning solutions to meet their needs.
    • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, ensuring consistent follow-up and engagement throughout the sales process.
    • Sales Presentations: Conduct persuasive and informative sales presentations and product demonstrations that highlight the value and benefits of the company’s offerings.
    • Negotiation: Negotiate terms and pricing with potential customers, ensuring that deals are both competitive and profitable for the company.
    • Pipeline Management: Maintain and manage a robust sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and keeping accurate records of all interactions with prospects.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to provide feedback on lead quality and effectiveness of marketing campaigns, and with the customer success team to ensure smooth onboarding for new customers.
    • Reporting: Track and report on key sales metrics, including conversion rates, sales cycle length, and customer acquisition costs, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
    • Continuous Improvement: Continuously analyze sales processes and results to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices to increase conversion rates.
    • Customer Feedback: Collect and share customer feedback with the product and marketing teams to help refine offerings and better meet market demands.

    Qualifications

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
    • Experience: 15+ years of experience in sales, with a focus on lead conversion, business development, or a similar role. Experience in [industry, e.g., SaaS, education technology, software development] is highly preferred.
    • Sales Acumen: Proven track record of successfully converting leads into paying customers and achieving sales targets.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence decision-makers.
    • Customer-Centric: Strong customer-focused approach, with the ability to understand customer needs and deliver solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
    • Negotiation Skills: Skilled negotiator with the ability to close deals that are beneficial for both the customer and the company.
    • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM tools, sales software, and other digital platforms to manage sales activities and track performance.
    • Organizational Skills: Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple leads and tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
    • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to overcome objections and challenges in the sales process.
