    Sales & Business Development Officer (Agro Business - Poultry)

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Business Development Officer with proven experience in the poultry/agro business sector.
    • The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with clients within the poultry industry.
    • This role requires a self-motivated individual ready to hit the ground running and contribute immediately.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the poultry/agro sector in Lagos and surrounding regions.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, distributors, and partners.
    • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through effective sales strategies and customer engagement.
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
    • Develop and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations tailored to client requirements.
    • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to ensure alignment on promotions, product launches, and campaigns.
    • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates for management.
    • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to represent the company and expand the customer base.
    • Provide after-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction to foster repeat business and referrals.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor's degree
    • Minimum of 2 to 3years’ experience in sales and business development within the agro business sector, specifically poultry.
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
    • Strong understanding of the poultry market, products, and customer base in Nigeria.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Willingness to start immediately.
    • Must be based in or willing to commute to Ikeja and its environs.
