Risk Manager at LeadCapital PLC

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive Risk Manager to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks that could impact our business operations, reputation, or financial performance.
• The Risk Manager will develop and implement risk management strategies, policies, and procedures, ensuring the organization remains compliant with regulatory requirements and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement risk management policies, procedures, and frameworks across the organization.
• Identify and evaluate business risks including operational, financial, strategic, compliance, and reputational risks.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to ensure proactive risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with business units to integrate risk management into daily operations and strategic planning.
• Monitor risk trends, emerging risks, and changes in regulatory requirements.
• Lead incident investigations and develop corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.
• Prepare risk reports and present findings to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
• Liaise with external auditors, regulators, and insurance providers as needed.
• Train and educate employees on risk awareness and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Professional certifications are highly desirable.
• Minimum [4] years of experience in risk management, compliance, audit, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of enterprise risk management (ERM) frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in risk analysis tools and techniques; experience with GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) systems is a plus
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to influence at all levels.
• Experience in financial services

• Familiarity with IFRS 9 rules
• Familiarity with ISO 31000, COSO, Basel III, or other risk management standards/frameworks.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
