Revenue Assurance Team Lead at SIMS Nigeria Limited

Job Description

• Liaising with sales team on Revenue Forecast and Budget
• Prepare for submission to management, daily and monthly reconciliation of Sales reports and POS settlement reports by branches.
• To provide feedback and analysis to management with respect to variances in branch sales reports in comparism with ERP Report
• To provide feedback and analysis to management with respect to variances in branch sales reports in comparism with Bank inflows.
• Review daily cash verification report for publication to management
• Analysis of all end-to-end reconciliation from source and ensuring all sales proceeds are received and processed timely and completely
• Work with Finance and Operations depts leadership to ensure controls are in place to support the lead to cash process for all revenue streams
• To provide comprehensive risk analysis to drive internal improvements to mitigate finance risks across the business
• Ensure end to end POS reconciliations and charges are done by branch accountants and variances reported.
• To champion revenue leakages issues across the business
• Management off cash shortage or surplus across the business
• Conduct investigations into variances/irregularities in income GL lines
• Prepare exception reports for any variances/irregular balances noted in all income GLs and provide corrective actions
• Review monthly interest capitalized to ensure correctness.
• Review of Branch bank reconciliation reports.

Job Specifications / Experience Requirements

• A good Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Membership of ICAN/ACCA, or any other related professional qualification
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in similar role.
