    Retail Expansion Officer(s)

    The Retail Expansion Officer will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and supporting the acquisition of new retail outlets across strategic locations to drive the growth and presence of the Company. You will conduct feasibility studies, manage pre-site evaluation processes and support regulatory approvals in line with the company’s growth targets. This role requires strong market knowledge, analytical ability, stakeholder engagement skills, and a passion for execution.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct site inspections, market research, and feasibility studies for potential retail station locations.
    • Support in identifying viable properties or lease partnerships for retail outlet development.
    • Liaise with landlords, property agents, and government agencies to facilitate negotiations, inspections, and documentation.
    • Prepare detailed site evaluation reports and business case proposals for each identified location.
    • Work with legal, engineering, and project teams to ensure proper handover and commencement of site development.
    • Track and report on the pipeline of new retail sites and expansion progress.
    • Facilitate and support regulatory approval processes, documentation, and license applications.
    • Monitor the competitive landscape in assigned regions to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
    • Participate in expansion strategy reviews and planning sessions with the Retail Business Division.
    • Support post-launch performance tracking of newly onboarded stations to evaluate success vs projections.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of a first degree in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or any related discipline.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar/related role.
    • Strong project management experience
    • Good understanding of the downstream oil and gas sector.
    • Familiarity with land acquisition processes, permits, and regulatory frameworks
    • Basic financial acumen to support site viability assessments
    • Expert knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
    • Excellent Report Writing Skills.
    • Driven, independent, strategic thinker and leader who can juggle multiple projects simultaneously with fast-changing priorities.
    • Excellent negotiation skills.
