    Restaurant Runner

    Job Summary

    • The Restaurant Runner plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operations of our restaurant by efficiently delivering food and beverages from the kitchen to designated tables.
    • They are responsible for providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
    • The Restaurant Runner works closely with the waitstaff, kitchen staff, and management to ensure a positive dining experience for our guests.

    Responsibilities

    • Efficiently deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the designated tables, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    • Assist in setting up and clearing tables, ensuring tableware and condiments are stocked and readily available.
    • Collaborate with the waitstaff to promptly and accurately fulfill customer requests.
    • Ensure that each guest's order is complete and properly presented, following any special instructions or dietary restrictions.
    • Maintain a clean and organized dining area by promptly clearing dirty dishes, cleaning spills, and wiping down tables and chairs.
    • Collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate the timely delivery of food items, ensuring proper plating and garnishing.
    • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing guest inquiries, concerns, or requests, and escalating any issues to the appropriate personnel.
    • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper food handling, storage, and maintaining cleanliness in work areas.
    • Assist with other duties as assigned by the management team to support the overall operations of the restaurant.

    Qualifications

    • Candidates should possess an OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree with 4-6 years experience.
    • Prior experience in a similar role or in the food service industry is preferred but not required.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests and team members in a friendly and professional manner.
    • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for cleanliness and presentation.
    • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as per the restaurant's scheduling needs.
    • Physical stamina and the ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry trays or plates for extended periods.
