Tasks & Responsibilities:

1. Enforce 100% biosecurity on all farm location.
2. Assist in examining poultry and checking their health status.
3. Diagnose illnesses and determine the best treatment.
4. Assist in vaccinating poultry to prevent diseases.
5. Prescribe and administer medication.
6. Follow all ethical rules relating to animal welfare

Special Requirements and Skill

• The demands of the job regularly result in considerable fatigue.
• Occasionally required to lift or move objects 17kg to 25kg
• Travel to visit commercial farms and conduct clinical assessments.
• Need for walking and climbing stairs is a regular occurrence.
• The use of fine finger/precision work, the use of hand tools that require accurate control and steadiness and using gross motor skills in relation to moving objects on a regular basis.
• Ability to withstand harsh conditions.
• Exposure to noise.
• Strong interpersonal skills, and excellent social networking skills.
• Planning and organizing skills.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Strong decision-making skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Be able to follow written procedures
• Follow plan GMP, Health & Safety and Food Safety guideline
