Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site position for a Resident Control Officer located in Delta State, Nigeria.
• The Resident Control Officer will be responsible for ensuring adherence to the company’s internal control systems, identifying risks, and monitoring compliance with operational policies and procedures.
• Daily responsibilities include performing risk assessments, ensuring regulatory compliance, investigating anomalies, and preparing control reports.
• The role will require close coordination with different departments to ensure risk mitigation and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Strong risk management and financial control skills, including proficiency in assessing risks, implementing control measures, and compliance monitoring.
• Proficiency in audit processes, report preparation, and financial analysis.
• Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
• Sound knowledge of banking operations and regulatory frameworks.
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIA, or related credentials are an advantage.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high ethical standards.
