Prospect, acquire, and manage the portfolio of clients’ deposits (sustain and grow a portfolio of clients by building long-term relationships).
Prepare action sales and call plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made. Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity
Active and consistent engagement of new and existing clients to increase fund placement
Proactive management of all clients’ relationships by providing regular updates on the status of their accounts including regular market updates to improve the client’s awareness
Business development for both new and existing clients with a view to increasing penetration
Assume primary responsibility for understanding the client’s business at a strategic and operational level.
Constantly seek opportunities to enhance product and market knowledge to improve the company’s product offerings
Requirements
Required Skills
Good selling and negotiation skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in written and oral English.
High degree of professionalism in dealing with diverse groups of customers.
Organized and detail-oriented.
Ability to work under short-term deadlines whilst maintaining detailed accuracy.
Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the Financial Industry.
Relies on limited supervision to plan and accomplish goals.
High degree of creativity.
Required
Experience 3-4 years in a sales and relationship management role in a financial and investment services company.
Required Education/Qualification
B.Sc. certificate in any discipline
Five (5) O ’Level Credit Passes including English and Mathematics
