Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to surgical and outpatient patients.
• Prepare patients for ophthalmic surgery and support recovery care.
• Monitor and record patients vitals, symptoms and responses to treatment.
• Administer medications and assist physicians during eye procedures.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and follow up-routines.
• Maintain detailed and timely documentation in the patient care system.
• Comply with hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards.
• Exhibit leadership, empathy, and clinical excellence at all times.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with valid license from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a medical-surgical or eye hospital setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to evolving care and needs.
• Passion for patient-centered care and network.
• Emotionally intelligent, values-driven and a kind professional.
