Receivable Officer at Sunbeth Global Concepts (SGC)

Job Summary

This role is responsible for ensuring the timely, accurate, and complete accounting and reporting of all bank transactions, adhering strictly to International Accounting Standards and the company’s accounting policies.

Job Details

• Posts inflows from customers to company’s bank ledgers 
• Reconcile invoices to receipts in customers’ accounts 
• Reconcile invoices to receipts from Stations 
• Follows up with bank for credits that are not in our records 
• Carry out reconciliation of all bank accounts
•  Post inter-company transactions to the respective suppliers’ account or relevant ledger 
• Ensure inter-company account is reconciled
•  Capture VAT/WHT receivable deducted from customers’ payments to the relevant ledgers
•  Prepare schedule of accruals and ensure timely expensing as at when due ·       

Responsibilities

Any other duty as assigned by Head, Financial Control.

Educational Qualification:

• A Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance or related field from an accredited university.

Professional Qualification:

• Recognized professional accreditation (ICAN /CFA/ACA /CIMA/ ACCA etc.) will be an advantage.

Experience:

• 3-5years’ professional experience

Functional / Technical Competencies

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
• Good understanding of accounting manual
• Knowledge of Accounting standards  
• Knowledge of Account consolidation
• Good Accounting background
