Responsibilities
Quantity Surveying:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
• Perform tendering processes, including evaluation and recommendations.
• Monitor project costs and expenditures, ensuring alignment with approved budgets.
• Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project financial performance.
• Draft and manage contracts, procurement documents, and change orders.
• Conduct site inspections and measure work progress for valuation and payment certification.
• Prepare final account statements and claims.

Procurement:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project goals.
• Identify, evaluate, and engage reputable suppliers and contractors.
• Negotiate contract terms, prices, and delivery schedules.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, standards, and ethical practices.
• Monitor procurement timelines to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Maintain accurate procurement and supplier records for auditing and reporting.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Accuracy and timeliness of cost estimates and budgets.
• Effectiveness of procurement strategies, measured via cost savings and supplier performance.
• Adherence to project schedules and budgets.
• Contract and change order management efficiency.
• Quality assurance in procurement and quantity surveying deliverables.
• Compliance with regulatory, ethical, and organizational policies.

Competencies and Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7years of relevant experience in real estate development, construction, or a related sector.
• Professional certification such as RICS, CIOB, or quantity surveying membership is preferred.
• Procurement certifications such as CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) will be an added advantage.
• Proven experience handling dual roles or broad project responsibilities.
