Job description

The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with government regulations, manages daily production scheduling, supervises team activities, and ensures optimal utilization of raw and packing materials.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will perform the following responsibilities:

• Develop plan for the qualification of the new QC laboratory as well as organization of the QC laboratory equipment;
• Partner with Product Quality and Regulatory to support CMC deliverables;
• Participation in risk assessments;
• Implement systems and procedures to ensure manufacturing operations of the factory meets production plans, product quality and cost standards
• Ensure quality orientation and identify quality improvement programs to improve the cost effectiveness of the manufacturing process for the factory.
• Monitor working conditions to ensure the continued provision of a safe and healthy working environment for the factory.
• Maintain all necessary records to ensure effective monitoring of the manufacturing process in the factory.
• Ensure that appropriate standard operating procedures (SOP) are developed and maintained for all aspects of the business.
• Implement plant safety programs and ensure compliance with QAMS, HACCP and Good manufacturing practices (GMP).

Job Requirement

• Bachelor of Science in pure and chemical science courses. Relevant certifications and training are an added advantage.
• Experience with analytical method development, validation and transfer a s well as product characterization and analytical comparability;
• Previous experience in QC experience is required.
• Advanced knowledge of Juice processing and quality control.
• Must be able to independently conduct CIP, water treatment and batch mixing.
