Quality Control Engineer – Level 2 at Fort Knox Group

Job Description

• We are looking for a Quality Control Engineer (Level 2) with strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of mechanical and piping systems.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring work processes, performing inspections, and ensuring all deliverables meet company and client quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks and inspections on mechanical and piping works.
• Ensure that materials and workmanship comply with approved standards and specifications.
• Review and maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection reports, and test records.
• Support project teams in achieving compliance with quality management systems.
• Assist in developing inspection and test plans (ITPs) for mechanical installations.
• Report non-conformances and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and clients to resolve quality-related issues.

Health, Safety & Environmental (OHSE) Responsibilities:

• Ensure all inspections are carried out in line with safety procedures.
• Promote compliance with HSE standards and company policies.
• Report unsafe practices or conditions to supervisors immediately.

Skills & Abilities:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.

Knowledge & Technical Requirements:

• Knowledge of QA/QC processes and ISO 9001 standards.
• Familiarity with inspection and testing procedures for mechanical systems.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2 – 4 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance roles.
• Experience in mechanical, piping, or fabrication environments preferred.
