Role Description

• Experinence in food industry and chemicals is relevant
• Coordinate the implementation of supplier quality assurance program.
• Coordinate with procurement and central quality for establishing specifications and standards related inputs, process controls and finished products.
• Develop standards for operation and maintenance of QA / QC laboratories compliant to GLP requirements
• Develop and maintain in-process controls and product testing and release protocols.
• Coordinate quality requirements for new products, new formulations.
• Conduct stability studies
• Monitor and maintain the food safety program complaint to the standards.
• Coordinate with operations for failure investigations, process & product incidents and track corrective actions.
• Control change management in product and process and conduct risk assessment of the same.
• Investigate complaints and implement CAPA
• Data Analysis and interpretations and trouble shooting
• Approval of release of products for sale
• To strictly adhere to the requirements of the QMS (ISO 9001) and FSMS (ISO 22000) system.
• To ensure calibration of all the testing, measuring and weighing equipment under direct control of the Quality Assurance department are carried out regularly.
• Responsible for preventive and breakdown maintenance of all the instruments and equipment under control by way of getting them done through the engineering department or service contractors as per the company’s procedure
• To plan for the various materials requirement based on consumption / requirement.
• To submit the required periodic reports to the Chief Quality Officer.
• To ensure good housekeeping and cleanliness in the area of control all the time
• To strictly adhere to statutory and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 6 years experience
• in Quality Manager in a chemical manufacturing
• B.sc in Chemistry and other related course of study
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
