Position Overview

• The Purchasing Officer will manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for solar installations, metal fabrication, and general operations.
• The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, solid knowledge of supply chain best practices, and the ability to maintain productive relationships with local and international suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Sourcing:

• Identify reliable suppliers and vendors for solar components, metal materials, tools, and technical equipment.
• Request quotations, analyze bids, and recommend cost-effective options without compromising quality.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on pricing, material availability, and industry trends.

Purchase Management:

• Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely approval and processing.
• Track delivery schedules and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely supply of goods and services.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.

Supplier Management:

• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Evaluate vendor performance regularly based on price, quality, and reliability.
• Resolve issues related to delivery delays, damaged goods, or contract disputes.

Inventory & Material Coordination:

• Coordinate closely with the warehouse and production teams to determine material needs.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment.
• Support forecasting of material usage for solar and metal-tech projects.

Compliance & Cost Control:

• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and regulations.
• Maintain cost efficiency through negotiation and strategic sourcing.
• Assist in budgeting and cost analysis for procurement operations.
