    Provost / CEO: Federal College of Agriculture (FCA), Akure

    Duties

    • The Provost/CEO is the Institute/Academic and Administrative head of the institute/college in charge of the day to day running of the institute/college.

    Qualifications

    • Candidates must be a holder of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) with relevant qualifications and wide experience of the matter with which the college/institute is concerned, training and research experience as evidenced in scientific publications in referred journals.
    • In addition, candidates must have the ability to provide academic/ administrative leadership, attract funding as well as have clear and articulated vision for the development of the college/institute.
    • Furthermore, he/she must not be more than 60 years of age at the time of commencement of the tenure. 
    • A minimum of Principal Lecturer, Assistant Director or Associate Professor would be required, please.
