Job Summary:

The Project Officer will support the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of SOG Foundation projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timelines. This role involves close collaboration with faith communities, Christian organisations, partners, and stakeholders to develop impactful programmes aligned with the Foundation’s mission.

Responsibilities:

• Support the development and execution of scholarship programmes, alumni networks, business bootcamps, and evangelism initiatives.
• Prepare concept notes, project plans, budgets, timelines, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate volunteer recruitment, training, and management for projects.
• Liaise with partners, faith leaders, and community groups to ensure project objectives are met.
• Work with the communications team to share project updates via newsletters, social media, and other channels.
• Track project milestones, budget utilisation, and performance indicators.
• Prepare and present regular status reports to management and donors.
• Document lessons learned and best practices for future projects.
• Organise workshops, training sessions, and project events.
• Ensure effective allocation and use of resources, including personnel and materials.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in project management within the non-profit or faith-based sector.
• Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and project management tools.
