Main Function
The Project Officer will be responsible for supporting the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the Foundation’s projects and initiatives ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timelines. This role involves close collaboration with faith communities, Christian organisations, partners, and stakeholders to develop impactful programmes aligned with the Foundation’s mission.
Role Responsibilities
Programme Planning and Implementation
- Support the development and execution of scholarship programmes, alumni networks, business bootcamps, and evangelism initiatives.
- Prepare concept notes, project plans, budgets, timelines, and risk assessments for assigned programmes.
- Organise workshops, training sessions, and other project-related events.
Stakeholder and Partner Engagement
- Liaise with partners, faith leaders, and community groups to ensure project objectives are achieved.
- Coordinate volunteer recruitment, training, and management to support project delivery.
Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting
- Track project milestones, budget utilization, and performance indicators.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to management and donors.
- Document lessons learned and best practices for continuous improvement.
Communication and Outreach
- Work with the communications team to share project updates through newsletters, social media, and other platforms.
- Promote project visibility and impact among stakeholders and the wider community.
Resource and Risk Management
- Ensure effective allocation and use of resources, including personnel and materials.
- Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.
Experience
- 2–3 years’ experience in project management within the non-profit or faith-based sector.
Skills
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for Christian ministry and alignment with the organization’s mission and values.
