As the Project Manager, your role is pivotal in overseeing and managing construction projects to ensure their successful execution. Your responsibilities span various facets of project planning, resource allocation, and efficient project delivery. Here are the key duties and responsibilities associated with this role:

1. Project Strategy and Planning:
   • Collaborate with project teams to define project strategies and objectives.
   • Review project plans to ensure alignment with business goals.
   • Develop and refine project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
2. Resource Allocation and Efficiency:
   • Allocate resources effectively across projects.
   • Analyse operational and financial risks, providing recommendations for optimal decisions.
   • Prioritize tasks based on urgency and client requirements.
3. Commercial Value Enhancement:
   • Optimize project execution to enhance commercial value.
   • Develop construction strategies for efficient project completion.
   • Establish guidelines for contractor selection and project sequencing.
4. Quality Assurance and Compliance:
   • Ensure projects meet quality standards through collaboration with engineers.
   • Verify compliance with industry standards before project handover.
   • Address challenges promptly to maintain project timelines and quality.
5. Budget Management:
   • Manage project expenses within the company budget.
   • Collaborate with project managers to address budget challenges and maintain project financial health.
6. Communication and Coordination:
   • Act as a communication bridge between project engineers and senior management.
   • Facilitate site planning meetings and coordinate material deliveries.
   • Provide technical explanations to clients as required.

 Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices and familiarity with project management tools and software.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with internal stakeholders, clients, and subcontractors.
• Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analysing data, identifying trends, and developing strategies to improve performance and efficiency.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve excellence.
