Project Engineer (Solar) at Basscomm Group Limited

Role Overview

• As a Solar Project Engineer, you will be responsible for building, and implementing solar power projects. This role is contract-based and will last till the project is commissioned.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the project management team to develop comprehensive solar power project plans, considering client requirements, site conditions, and technical specifications.
• Conduct detailed site assessments and feasibility studies, evaluating factors like sun exposure, shading, and grid connection possibilities.
• Design and engineer solar systems, including selecting appropriate components, sizing inverters, and optimizing system layout.
• Provide technical support during project implementation, overseeing installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting as needed.
• Conduct thorough quality inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and project specifications.
• Generate detailed project documentation, including engineering drawings, technical reports, and as-built documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, procurement, and project management, to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field
• 2 - 5 years of experience as a Solar project Engineer
• Good knowledge of project documentation, engineering drawings, technical reports, and as-built documentation.
