    Production Planner

    Main Purpose of Job

    • The Production Planner is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the production plan at Seven-Up Bottling Company.
    • This includes overseeing the availability of materials and goods required for production, as well as maintaining an optimal working space.
    • The Production Planner plays a critical role in coordinating production workflow, planning operations, and monitoring job progress to ensure on-time and budget-compliant delivery.
    • The role requires a strong understanding of bottling operations, planning expertise, and the ability to drive efficiency and productivity improvements.

    Responsibilities

    • Plan and execute production activities in accordance with the Bill of Materials (BOM), ensuring timely availability of raw and packaging materials on the shop floor.
    • Convert planned orders into process orders, considering current factory realities such as production line capacity and availability of resources.
    • Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products, prioritizing operations to maximize performance and minimize delays.
    • Determine manpower, equipment, and raw material requirements to meet production demand.
    • Schedule shifts according to production needs, monitor job progress and address any issues to minimize disruptions.
    • Collect and analyze production output data, including the number of finished products and the percentage of defectives.
    • Prepare and submit production status and performance reports, ensuring adherence to relevant standards and regulations.
    • Attend daily production and planning meetings, establishing, monitoring, and reinforcing control on production activities.
    • Collaborate with various departments, such as Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Warehouse, to build and maintain productive relationships.
    • Drive innovation by continuously improving processes, exploring industry benchmarks, and implementing best practices.
    • Promote a positive and inclusive work environment, aligning with the company's values and culture.
    • Utilize performance management systems to set objectives and drive employee engagement and development.

    Selection Criteria

    • Minimum of HND or BSc in Food Sciences, Engineering, or General Sciences.
    • 5-7 years of relevant hands-on experience in FMCG operations and maintenance.
    • Strong knowledge of bottling operations, including planning, manufacturing, quality, environment, engineering, health, and safety.
    • Demonstrated expertise in operational planning, financial analysis, and people management.
    • Ability to build and leverage relationships to improve results.
    • Proven experience in problem-solving, analytical skills, and continuous process improvement.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Proficiency in PET and RGB operation and maintenance.
