As part of its operational assurance efforts, our client is seeking a thorough and process-driven Production Lead Auditor to join the Internal Control team. In this role, you will lead production audits across manufacturing stages, validate production output data, and ensure alignment with approved processes. You will be responsible for identifying process gaps, reporting discrepancies, and recommending corrective actions that uphold production quality and inventory accuracy. Your diligence will play a critical role in reinforcing compliance and operational integrity as the company continues to expand.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct daily audits on production lines to ensure alignment with approved work orders, quantities, and specifications.
Monitor raw material issuance, usage, and reconciliation to prevent loss or misuse.
Verify output documentation against physical production and system entries.
Observe and report deviations in manufacturing processes, waste handling, or quality standards.
Conduct post-production reviews to confirm proper documentation, tagging, and movement of finished goods.
Monitor ERP entries (e.g., ODDO) for production-related transactions.
Track discrepancies in BOMs (Bill of Materials), machine logs, and operator entries.
Collaborate with Production and Quality teams to maintain data accuracy.
Prepare and submit daily and weekly production audit reports.
Recommend and follow up on corrective actions for non-conformances.
Support root-cause investigations on production variances or control breaches.
Requirements
WHAT TO HAVE
HND/BSc in Industrial Engineering, Production Management, Accounting, or related discipline
2–3 years’ experience in internal audit, quality control, or production supervision in a manufacturing environment
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., ODDO, SAP) and spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets)
Certifications in audit, quality, or process management (e.g., CISA, CQI, Lean Six Sigma) – preferred but not required
Strong attention to detail and understanding of production workflows
Analytical mindset with ability to identify process inefficiencies and data anomalies
Excellent communication skills and confidence in cross-functional reporting
High sense of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
Ability to establish and maintain production audit schedules with high completion rates
Capability to reduce raw material variance and prevent losses through effective tracking
Improve audit closure rate and documentation accuracy across production lines
