Role Overview

• The Chief Survey & Engineering Officer (CSEO) will serve as the authority for all technical operations, representing the Managing Director in offshore survey matters. This executive leader will drive operational excellence, ensure compliance with global safety standards, and spearhead innovation across multidisciplinary survey and engineering services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and technical oversight across offshore and onshore survey operations.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams in Engineering Survey, Hydrographic Survey, Geotechnical & Geophysical Investigations, Subsea Construction, Seismic Acquisition, Environmental Hazard Investigation, Corrosion Control, ROV Services, and Marine Support.
• Ensure strict compliance with international offshore safety standards, regulatory frameworks, and industry best practices.
• Represent the Managing Director in all technical matters, serving as the company’s principal authority on survey and engineering operations.
• Drive innovation and adoption of advanced technologies in subsea engineering and survey services.
• Oversee project execution, quality assurance, and client engagement for large-scale offshore projects.
• Mentor and develop technical leadership talent within the organization.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Engineering, Geosciences, Marine Studies, or Surveying.
• 15–20+ years’ experience in offshore survey, subsea engineering, or oil & gas technical services, with at least 7 years in executive leadership.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale offshore projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of offshore safety standards, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices.
• Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage complex operations in high-pressure offshore environments.
